I think you track heads are going in the wrong direction, Chris is using his bike for STREET riding.

I had a pilot power on the back and put over 3k miles on it, I commute on the bike and the center was considerably flat. It probably doesn't help that I like to accelerate hard...

I probably could have gotten another 500-1k miles easy, but I found a hole in the tire and I just had Motorcycles Unlimited put a PR2 on the back Saturday. I went on a good ride this weekend and the PR2 felt great. I'm looking forward to the PR2 holding the center better than the PP.

I have no experience with other brands so consider me biased.

Hey, everyone has their preferences, and there are some die hard Dunlop fans out there, but IMO, the tire doesn't match up well against the other brands anymore.

I can't wait to try out the new Bridgestone BT016!

I've had dunflops and pirelli diablos (Rosso's previous version)... IMHO, I wouldn't try again dunlops. Diablos are pretty good, great mileage (almost 3K of twisties and a track day) and still some thread left... Pirelli is the way to go. And If you're using only for street, I'd suggest Rosso no Corsa 3 cause thread life
