wrong! he can clean that chain up with some mineral spirits, and lube it and he'll be fine...use some belrays chain lube.

Those seized links may or may not be OK but very soon you should replace that chain.
When they get like that they can break and not only leave you stranded but if it wads up in front of the countershaft sprocket it can crack the engine case. That's bad, in an expensive kinda way.

There is not a thing wrong with what I said. That picture shows chain links that are seized, stuck, frozen, bound or whatever you want to call it and clearly needs some attention. I did not say to replace the chain in my previous post either. I just said "take care of your bike before you end up with damage." which could mean some tlc or replacement.
