Hey...

Y'all keep me in the loop on these rides. I saw you had it posted but I went to the HPD cruise. It was ok, but not even close to as much fun as I had in the forest Saturday. I was actually in KW and headed to 105 then changed my mind and met HPD at Lubys.
The pace was too slow, too many cars, too much traffic and a helluva head wind comming back on 45 from galveston. Pretty sweet rides out there though.

Very little traffic on our route today -- some of the roads had no cars at all at 1-3pm.

4. Exactly what was posted.

It was a good ride! Except for the gravel and packed dirt. No, I'm not kidding. LOL

Brandon and I were cruzin along and had to get hard on the brakes as we came right up on where the road turned to loose gravel then hard packed reddish dirt. Boo. I'm gonna need a motard if I keep riding in that stuff.

Other than that the day was good and I broke in my PR2 on the rear.

We saw a rider down near the lake. Emergency vehicles were already on site so we didn't stop. Looked like a BMW, not sure what model. There was what appeared to be a silver R1 on the side of the road next to it.

Yep but the road was pretty good before and after the gravel and compact dirt. Once they finish reparing that section it should be ok.
