Is this a knock? can you narrow it down to a cylinder? short out each cylinder until you find one that makes the noise lessen? then you know ur looking at a bearing etc; regardless its gonna cost to break it down... consider a 1397 kit or turbonium?

I,ll trade U my 03 40th anniversary that runs, for that blown up one U might be better off buying a clean used motor and just swaping them out, certinally quicker and may be cheaper in the long run?
