If the guy is a Marine and just made a f'ed up choice, I'll donate a $100 for his lack of sense. We all screw up now and then. Lesson learned? Only he can say. Worth a $100 at minimum for what he has to put up with so we can have this cush life here. Let me know via pm or at tojo92@msn.com. I'm good for it.

Good on you for letting him have the bike for a while. Life is full of suprises.

that sucks! If he's been riding for a while he should have been able to ride without spilling it. I wonder if he was trying to wheelie or something. I hate it when you find out you can't trust someone to follow their word, especially when it's family/friends of the family. I hope they make it right for you.

Thanks for the offer but I am going to hold his dad to to his "word" I would not be so upset about the "accident" because thats what it is. $hit happens to all of us. Its the fact that I saw the kid on the bike at the gas station when his dad said he wouldn't be riding it on the street. Only in parking lots. Then his dad would ride it to the DMV. Thats the first problem. Then the wreck itself. They didn't feel the need to call me and tell me he wrecked it. They looked it over themselves and conluded it was ok to still ride. Which it wasn't. The gear shift lever was wearing a hole in the case! Thats why I am mad. Accidents happen. But those two things are a slap in my face. I was trying to do a nice thing and let them use my bike. My dad is in Iraq (civi) and my sister is in the navy. I am in norfolk right now visiting her. So I understand a little about what it takes to have this "cush life" Thanks for the offer.

Fair enough, and I understand what you're saying. Hope everything gets fixed good as new.
