Do it yourself 600rr fender elim kit

my friend that let me borrow his bike wants me to put a elim. kit on his bike, but he wnats to know if there is a DIY was to do it w.o looking nasty. right now i have ghetto fabbed the lis. plate with some shoe string..he wants a cleaner look, but dowenst want to pay for a $50 kit...any thought...bao, danny, marian...any other 600rr riders??????

Do it yourself 600rr fender elim kit

Buy 2 (L) Metal Brackets size 2x2 ( 2 wholes on both sides). Cost about 2-3 dollors. Mount it right under the exhaust where the rear pegs are. I don't mean mount it on the rear pags. Mount it on the little (U shape) things with the plate. Thats how I did bao's bike. Works, looks nice, and clean. You can even flip it up if you need to hide your plate.

got any pics of the U shape thing so i know where to put it??? how long did it take for you to do it start to finish?

Do it yourself 600rr fender elim kit

Look at the subframe when you see the bike. It's right behide the rear pegs. It's small but you can't miss it. Took me 10min from start to finsh.

or if you have those little red reflectors, you can't mount the L brackets on there, thing is you might need to bend it a little to make it work.. but turns out good and doesn't cost much. i can take pics later to show you if you need it.
