Just because someone put the tires on doesn't mean they put the right amount of air in it or even balanced it right.

I would wager suspension, then rider...

And a stabilizer won't cure an ill handling bike, just covers it up till it is beyond saving.

I had this problem before on my 03 600rr before I sold it. I took it to Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited and had the suspension set up done correctly and it was a whole different ride after that! I wouldn't put a stabilizer on it until you get your suspension done.

fwiw chopping the gas is not the best way to stabilize a wobble, so i am going to go with rider induced....

chill out man, slow it down, before you are slowed down permanantly

well ulric, I'm glad you asked that question. I have a 12 pack of heinekens, 3 bong rips and 2 valiums prior to attaching the remaining seat cushion to several pachyderms, who all pull at once. works about half the time. the few peices left come out like shotgun pellets.

AH before i had the tire changed i did 145 and no wobbles at all. Yes i took the MSF course and every thing. and ya i can wait before i hit those speeds again u can bet on that one. But still man i almost lost my life there i am soo glad to be still here. anyways there were no groves on the road or anything this happened when i was passing up the 249 exit on the 8. man i like going fast but cant wast all that money going to the track you know what i mean. so bottom line is i should get my front tire balanced again and then WHAT or just go to a shop to get it checked out again. You know when i bought the bike it was used and got it checked out at Motorcycle unlimited but just the visual inspection the said i need a new tire. anyways they said the bike looked fine so like 3 days later i got a new perril tire and had my friend change it then took it to cycle gear to get it balanced and then went to ride but i guess i need to take the bike to ML again to have Patrick look at it. I hope its nothing bad the bike was laid down but only had like really minor scratches like you cant even tell cuz it has frame sliders and rear spools ( i think thats what you call them) SO any thing else ???

Take it to Motorcycles Unlimited, pay $25 to have the suspension set for you, and let them give it the once over. Could be the forks are sprung a little out of line and just need loosened up and squared.

And, if you don't mind, I'd like to get a life insurance policy on you, because if you continue to run those speeds on those roads, I'll cash in sooner than later.

If you can't afford a track day then you can't afford a ticket. Tickets usually cost more than a track day.

But definitely get the bike looked at asap. Also mismatched tires can cause issues with the bike.
