My cousin just called me and tells me that one of his freinds got his bike stolen.........heres the story.....(lets call my cousins freind "jon doe")

So jon doe buys a wreck 2003 ninja 636 (im still waiting on more info on the bike ) and he buys some parts of off ebay...the ups guy comes to deliver'em and says...."nice bike" jon doe says "yea its nice buy i need to fix it " Ups guy; "i know a guy that works on bikes" so jon doe get the # and calls the "mechanic" the mechanic shows up and says...yea it would cost u about $700 and the jon doe says....cool so the mechanic says lets load the biike in my truck take it to my house ill start working on it and u bring the money on the weekend .so they go and drop the bike off and jon does says the mechanoic had other 4 bikes in there....and the next weekend jon doe goes with the money.....for his surprise...the house is empty...he talk to the neighborns and says that the mechanic said he was takin off to mexico...and the he loaded at least 15 bikes on a big u-haukl truck.....

Jon doe lives in the Katy area....im still waiting on info on where the mechanic lived at...

If anybody know anything about this or something like that please post....jon doe has the title of the bike and he filed a police report on it...

Ouch!!! he better get in touch with that UPS and find out info on his homie. might be some kind of scam, thats a shame either way. we all have to be cautious of who we work with and cant trust every person out there. Why didnt he go to a reliable person that you would recommend?

But anywho good luck to your "jon doe" and keep us up-to-date with details on this case

oh belive you me its easy to take merchandise through to mexico, money talks round those parts of the world. slip them an envelope and they will even give you an escort to your destination, no questions asked.

Cool, any chance he had an LP #, or atleast a partial would help as well. If he had intentions of bailing the phone is probably a pay as you go deal and there isn't anything you can do w/ that.

Man, that sucks. I hope they find the guy, but he sounds to organized to be caught this time. Good luck to you guys though!
