How Many Wear Riding Pants

It seems a lot of people wear full gear, excepting pants....

I'd like a survey of riders who WON'T ride without FULL GEAR INCLUDING PANTS. It makes me feel i'm a anomaly......

Lol.... I found them @ motorcycle-superstore.com.

I think i spent $100-130 for them. I wear them anytime its not raining and they are mesh with knee armour....

Try out the superstore. Good deals... And its better than jeans if you go down!

Btw, enjoyed riding with you last time... you guys were fun. take a look at the new sticky and email your state rep and also email Gary elkins office to promote the legalization of lane sharing.... (my political promo again! )

I have mesh as well, Cortech with armor for the cold days. Most of the time it's double knee Dickies with Alpinestars knee/shin guards underneath.

I always wear jeans, but under is knee guards and under armour padded shorts, so I guess I stay more protected than most, but still not riding pants.

I pretty much wear riding pants whenever I ride. I picked up a Fieldsheer mesh jacket and pants from Patrick last year, and I have an old Joe Rocket textile suit I wear when it's colder out. I'm looking at getting a perforated leather two piece suit this summer.

Pigpen had some canvas overpants on when he wadded up the ZX12. Even tho they are baggy and tore up pretty good, he didn't have any cuts or damage on the legs.

I slid down the side of a ditch and asphalt road at about 40-50 mph in the Dickies. It tore thru the top layer but not the bottom. No protection for your and hips tho..

If I am out riding for fun I wear jeans, boots, jacket, gloves and helmet. If I am on my way to work it is the same except I wear dockers cause I have to for work.

I don't wear the overpants ALL the time, but I'd say 95% of the time I'm geared head to toe.
