once again a bull terrier....not a pitbull as labeled....but every mean breed that looks like one is a pit in close minded peoples eyes.

I'm with ya Cogs, Id never have a Pit around my kid.

Think about the names really quick....

"PIT BULL".....hmmmmm, yea, it'll kill ya
"Doberman Pinch".....hmmmm yea, it will pinch you.

lol.
and yet again......pitbull is a label....most dogs that you are labeling are of several different breeds and are being lumped all together into one word.

Ok stupid opinion in your mind. Either way, it is my opinion. I think I have said it at least 10 times. All dogs CAN BE dangerous. Just some have a higher risk. I have absolutely no friends, family or acquantances where a lab attacked one. Sure it happens, just like all dogs. Calculated risks. Only way a human can reason what is risky or not.

I agree, I'm sure there are thousands of mis interpretations, but bull terrier is the closest relation to a pitbull on that list. Pitbull doesn't even show up close to that. so I guess the right answer would be all Terrier families? Either way, if people are going to get OFFENDED of my opinion and my choices, than I guess I need to quit stating my opinion. I thought this was a forum aka a discussion board. I could see if I stated they were worthless and should all be wiped off the face of the earth, but i'm racist and not capable of being respected since I don't trust my 10 month old around them that my entire life revolves around. I'm done talking about dogs.

+1 No matter what the ACTUAL bred is, if it looks like certain terriers, it's going to be called a vicious pitbull.

easy partner...i never called you a rascist, nor did i say anything about not respecting you. And yes you are entitled to your opinions as everyone else. im not saying because yu choose not to have one i hate you. But others have completely bashed on opinions and strictly on bad news that they "HEARD" about. I am saying that not all of them are viscious killers. The three of mine wile still acting like dumb dgs sometimes have very good people skills. It is n how they are raised. Dogs that are socialized properly as pups with responsible owners are great, and the unloved chained up and ignored ones are the problems. Just trying to let everyone know from my point of view. I am one of those little foot soldiers trying to get the bad stigma lifted from a breed that is frowned upon.

nah buddy, it wasn't you, but someone very close to you And I'm glad you love your dogs so much, if people like you didn't, they wouldn't be around at all. We all have to make decisions for us on what we know, or information we can gather. Mine computes to not chancing it only cuz of my family.

BTW, the comments weren't necessarily directed at you, I started my post directed towards you, then went to saying a broad statement. Sorry for you to think I was at you directly.
