Simular thing happened to me last week on HWY3 in Webster. I am in the left lane at speed limit when this (city or private) p-up truck w/ trailer carrying lawn equipment decided that they need turn left from the right lane into the plaza. Problem was I was about even with his rear cab door. I lay on the horn and throttled ahead. He then decides the lay on his horn. I just let it go. Saddly I am kinda used to not haveing people see me or people look right at me and still pull the same tricks.

Yes, state's differ on the acronym but Texas refers to it as such.

Really no point in making a situation worse. Handgun license doesn't make a bit of help unless you have no alternative and you are being mortally threatened. Better to just put distance between you. It's not the O.K. Corral ... best to take the 8-to-1 or better hp to weight advantage and get the out of dodge. Flippin the bird is not going to correct their actions, but overperforming them is plenty of in-your-face as far as I'm concerned...

I think it's funny that nobody mentioned how you gave him the bird multiple times then hid when you thought he may have been following you. Why instigate it in the first place if you didn't want confrontation?

does it really matter if he was loud? Really - words and volume - not relevant compared to being able to move on uncontested... just a pathetic human showing his iQ....

but one "I'm going to kill you" and then there's some smack that needs put down... like showing of a weapon? But what if you tried to use it, untrained, and hit a bystander? that's the trouble with aggressive responses... cops are trained how NOT to use a weapon, and when there's no other choice. It's a profession you know....

but hey - these things are going to happen... just leaving is usually good enough - a moron will always be a moron, but if he can't catch you, who cares??? LOL

yes ..i agree ... i would have never pulled a gun out.... i only mentiond he was loud because i have a micron high mount exhaust and its loud and i could hear him over it lol..... he must have been yelling at the top of his lungs. the only thing that i can really see that i did wrong was flick him off... (he deserved it)
