im in a fairly new relationship (6 months) she isnt very enthusiastic about riding and says when im out she worries. sometimes she researches little stuff about motorcycles to spark up conversation. like what do you think of those arai helmets? she trys to act interested although she isnt so i appreciate that.

I got an Ultimatum from the last girl I dated. Everything went well for the first few months.

Then she told me I had to chose between the bike and her. Guess which one I chose. (Hint it likes to be ridin hard, never complains, and won't cheat)

my wife tries not to complain to me, but i know it bothers her when i'm on my bike. she likes riding with me, and i hoped when she took MSF with me that she'd start riding herself, but that's just not gonna happen. it's awesome that she supports me even though she hates that i ride, but i think if she ever has to pick me up from the hospital i'll be done, willingly or not.

wife wont ride since kids came along. She is worried we will both be killed and leave kids parentless. I wish I had an arguement for that, but it would be stupid to try. She has a legit arguement. She rode with me back in the day and she sure looks good on the back. Oh well more room for me. She wont let me have a rear seat though. Cant say I blame her for that either. We both know what I would do with it.

dont blame her for this. im 22 and my dad rides. sometimes my dad takes my mom out and it scares me that something could happen to both of them at the same time. it would be hard enough losing one.

When my husband asked me about buying a bike, I said sure... right after you buy me one. I knew that if he got his first, mine would not be a priority! . Even if I did not ride or have any interest in it, I would never expect him to give up something he loves. You only live once & we both believe you should enjoy the ride!

I guess I wouldn't be real happy if she didn't ride, but it wouldn't bother me that much either.

I like to go out every now and then. Not too much on speeding around corners and hauling ! I like a more leisurely ride where I can enjoy the scenery. Going fast is fun every once in a while. But most of the time you will find me chillen in the back. I think the fastest I have been is about 110. I don't mind him riding, as long as he keeps both tires on the ground, not a wheelie fan!
