I figure since he's the sponsor... he's the best one to check with. Kinda like SP from the senate side, might also send something to SP and see if he has any info.

i was told senate has no more say now by the senate committee lady, she indicated that House entirely different beast, and harder per more reps to get to support it.

That's why we have to have much more response and action from people if we want a chance here at this. The house is is where it died last time, we have to show it is IMPORTANT

Ghod wish I had a camera coming home last night...

I-45, feeder just past the paramatta overpass before the on-ramp. 3 car chain..

Suv in front, white pickup & another Suv...
The kicker, the pickup trucks rear end...up in the air, propped up on the front of the 2nd suv. The front end of the 2nd SUV maybe 3 feet from the tires of the truck.

I see those pile ups a lot. Usually I slide to the side when breaking so I can bail out of the lane if the dumbass behind me gets too close.

I also started counting how often I could use lanesharing safely(ish) in my commute. Works out to about 1.5 times a day that it would buy me some time. So I hope this goes through.
Peace.

I did the work for the emails, its easy to BCC your rep and all these people. With hundreds viewing this over the next day or so, a little action from you guys may make the difference in them not letting this die in committee. That's where its going if we don't stir up some action.

Thanks for your work on this! I'd already emailed all the committee members when the bill cleared the senate.

I could follow up with phone calls to all the Houston public safety committee members. Any chance you could add the phone #s for each representative's office in this post? I could look them all up myself, but doing so here would grease the skids for other MH people to make those calls as well.

About the phone #'s, sorry I don't think I have the patience right now. I seriously doubt that most people would call that many anyway.... email is a one shot and go. I think it serves the same purpose anyway, just letting them know you care...

Fixed it for you

Contact the entire Committee for Public Safety:

http://www.house.state.tx.us/committees/list81/420.htm

We need a public hearing in order for SB 506 to move on to the calendar. We are running out of time, the session isn't that long!!! They are on a committee - that means they don't have to be YOUR rep to get contacted. Please call. Please email. Please don't let this die in committee....
