rider needs a few good prayers

one of my good friends back in michigan just wrecked a few hours ago and there not sure if he will make it or not. he was doing a wheelie on a back road with another persons bike and when he set it down got tank slap and lost it. went through a telephone box, a huge wooden flower box, a fence and some other at a 100mph. broke his arm, ripped his leg off, ripped his strapped helmet off in mid crash, and totally ****ed him up. so keep this in the back of your head if your doing wheelies without a damper.

thanks a ton from all you, I just got a update and they were able to save the leg somehow, broken wrist, a few broken ribs, tons of bruises and rash. he is in surgery as I speak.. someone must have been listening because his leg was only attached by 2" of skin, but the main artery was in that 2" so it looks hopeful. it was def a real eye opener for all my friends that don't use gpr's... I would highly recommend to anybody that don't have stabilizers, they look into one, I def don't want to see this happen first hand. again a huge thanks to all.

Glad to hear he's gonna make it. He's got a long painful road ahead of him.

BTW, a damper is'nt a 100% gaurantee that your not gonna have a tank slapper.
Be a real friend and tell your buddys not to do stupid like this on public roads.

Wow. Good luck to him on a speedy recovery. NO Wheelie poppen! I say they are dangerous all the way around. You all are crazy for doing them IMO

Prayers for a speedy recovery - because believe me - now comes the hard part. And I don't think you'll have to tell your buddy anything about wheelies or 100mph, I'm sure he knows.
