Mine is stowed under the seat (their recommendation) - and is for a motorcycle (whatever that means to them). It works fine there, and I don't have to remember to take it along. If it doesn't work, I guess it's their issue to deal with - but it seems to charge me every time I go through.

I'm thinking that riding on the white line doesn't make a difference, does it?

If you read the fine print that came w/ the tag, you will notice they only give you one chance to "redeem yourself". It says something to the effect of the first time your plates are photographed they will charge your acct, but the subsequent times you are going to be billed.

*shrug* my buell never gets picked up at the gated ramps... i end up having to go around them... with the tag in my pocket

i just called the toll road authority they say as long as license plate is registered they will charge you n not bill u for the tag not being read
so just make sure ur license plate is registered
