Dude it was hard dropping 7k that i won't get to spend on something for myself, but it was well worth it though. Maybe now i'll actually be worth some money now lol instead of in the negative

Nope no transfer of anything, interest was kicking my ****ing at i believe about 28% on 3 cards and 18% on the others. I had 5 CC in total. I knocked off 2 in 2 years, this was the 3rd year with my last 3 and now im done. I kinda went with the Dave Ramsey theory if you ever heard of him, just a bit though.

Im going to keep my longest line of credit open, and do the same so that i at least keep a balance in rotation. I do still want credit.

I also paid off my CC debt while over here. It feels so great not having any debt. Whats better right now is i have free health insurance and i have not a single expense. no cell phone, no paying for gas, no car payments, no insurance payments, NOTHING. Its a wonderful feeling.

I am nearly 100% debt free myself. In the past 3 years, I have eliminated $15k in credit card debt and $10k in student loan debt. I am still in the hole $20k - $10k to my dad and $9k in student loans

If you're wife and/or mother rely on you to pay the bills then they should already have a life insurance policy on you bike or not! But if you are looking at a policy just to protect you incase of a fatal MC accident be sure to check out http://stonebridgelife.com 's accidental death policy it's like $7.95/mo. and will pay out 200k(80% sure, maybe 100k) in the event of a fatal crash. Congrats on clearing out the CC debt

Congrats on the debts. I have had bikes since I was 15 and have been riding Busa since 04; I still have the wife and mother in-law scared everytime I go out.

+1 on dave ramsey (beans and rice rice and beans ) I racked up some c.c. debt in 2003 due to a broken leg . I paid off my card's in 2007 & just paid one of my trucks off !!!
