Angleton

Although I dont live there anymore, I grew up in angleton and go down there alot. The last few times ive been down it seems like there are TONS of bikes down there on decent days...anyone on here from A.T. that I dont know about, except for the people ive already met?

I lived in LJ until 2001 when I graduated and got the out.

There are only so many times you can ride through LJ farms without getting arrested.

in my high school days 'cruising the farms' was a daily occurence...not on a moto, but with a smogged out cage...

F LJ farms, speed limit is like 30, way to many brick mail boxes, ditch on both sides with lots of concret driveways and culverts, too many intersections/driveways with people pulling out with out looking because they are not expecting a speeding motorcycle rider. They like their quiet, do it too much and the cops will get called and your pretty much trapped back there.

Any Angletonians live on Walker street?

I bought my first truck in Angleton 12 years ago last month - still remember the ad:

1989 Chevy 4X4
350, 5 spd. stepside, reg. cab
33" tires, 153K
$4500
921 S. Walker Street

Lol, when I was 16 I must have read that ad like 100 times before I went and bought that truck.

I ride through Angleton sometimes. Work at the Huntsman plant down in Freeport on M, W, Th and ride for N Houston - weather permitting. Have to travel with a laptop for work, otherwise I wouldn't mind the rain. I always see alot of bikes. Although some squid almost got squished by my truck Monday. Looked like a stunt bike - no fairings or HEADLIGHT! Only thing that saved his was his pipes. I just passed someone and was about to get back over to the right and the sound stopped me. I look out my passenger window and *BAM* he rolled through. Only rockin a lid, but he did have on the titanium t-shirt halfway up his back with his beach cruiser slip-ons. Idiot.

I lived in Angleton for a little while. Grew up in LJ, and am currently living in Brazoria. I work at Dow, so have to be fairly close.
