Sportbikes and cops just don't mix. You have a few that ride or have ridden sportbikes but the majority see sportbikes as a way of bumping up their evaluation numbers at the end of the week. More often than not when a bike runs, it's a sportbike and these guys don't play around. It them when one gets away and they make up for it by writing up anyone else they can catch for just reason or not.

Personally, I'd rather fight them in court than on the street.

but it's so easy to speed on 290.

i've never been up there on the bike, but when i visit friends in college station i'm usually cruising at about 80.

peeps think 45 north is bad its just a matter of time until whoever rides on 290, I-10, 59 and eventually the city streets start getting messed with becuase HPD is out for sportbikes riders even if they arent doing anything wrong we need to take somekind of stand for this and im not talking about the people that run or stunt on freeways but for the cops that might read this.... If im going to get pulled over and harassed I might as well be doing something to get pulled over becuase ive got a good lawyer that is good at "defending the Innocent"

And with the negative way riders portray sportbikers they have every right to be off... you constantly hear about people braggin about running from the cops and stuff. As much as I hate stereotypes... I think they have every right to do it to us sportbikers cause of the recent influx of dumbasses it up for everyone else. :BangHead:

Ugh... I get a little passionate about this topic. Sorry.

I suggest everyone stay away from 290, there are nothing but state troppers there.

State Troopers are like the Marines of the police forces, those mofos are the elite and they don't play nor do they give up in a chase.
