If it's just ten over I might not even slow down. If it's more, I’m off the throttle or I’m on the brakes. This has worked for me in the past as well.

always slow down, they might just give you a warning. I was going towards austin one time and I know a cop got me at atleast 85. When he pulled me over he said just be safe and wrote me a warning that stated i was going above 70mph. But i guess they are more lenient out in the wide open, as far as being in the city, havent had that happen to me yet. *knocks on wood*

One time, I was distracted and didnt see the LEO. When he pulled me over, he said I gave him no choice but to stop me. He was clocking me and waited to see if I would slow down, I never did. It was kind of a respect thing to him. Needless to say I got the ticket. For that reason, every time I see one I slow down. Never know, would be a shame if it happened twice
