Cager at fault speed or not! Had the cager not pulled out in oncoming traffic Dustin woulda probably sped right by him, not that it matters much at this point, and not that speeding on a dark road is cool. But from my end, u pull into oncoming traffic, no matter how fast they were going ur at fault!

Most cagers aren't looking for ppl doing over 100 MPH so I disagree with you if your going to do over the speed limit then you may pay the price speed kills it's a proven fact

Let me ask you this, how would they have seen the bike say, if his front wheel was off the ground and he was doing a wheelie?

From some various commentary it sounds as if the location of this accident involved an intersection with less than optimal view/sight lines. If this is indeed part of the case, and the rider was speeding... weve got a different situation from the initial reports.
It can be rough trying to assess a bike speed from head/rear on, toss in night time and it really becomes hard/difficult... if you've got a bike that's doing 75-80+ in a location that's zoned 50-60?

Was he doing a wheelie?! Then in that case i can fully understand ur argument, and i agree bad lighlting could possibly change that fault, but either way it's tragic and sad 2 hear!!

RIP to all

Don't know if he was or not... I made the statement to get you to stop and think about it.

Judging the speed of a vehicle head on can be touchy, motorcycle particularly so. Make that a speeding motorcycle at night and you're looking at an accident waiting to happen.
Been there, done that first hand....

If you have taken physics then you would have a better understand of what all happened. If Dustin was hauling major he would have done a whole lot more damage. RIP.... I am sure the rider was just enjoying the ride when all this occured... those who knew the kid said he got the bike to show off and whatnot but if he was alone then the likely hood off him haulin and showin off was slim.
