looking for a few good roads

A friend and I will be heading to DC in mid July and I'd like some good roads to map out along the way there or back. We have a week give or take for the trip.

Below is the straight map showing where we're starting and where we're ending. What I need is the good stuff in between. I'll consider any good roads. Thanks.

In Orange, TX take 87 North all the way to Newton, just on the other side of Newton turn right onto 1414 and it runs back into 87 in about 15 miles. 1414 is a 9 out of 10 for Texas. In Burkeville, where 1414 runs into 87 again, take 87 North all the way to Center, TX, this is a great road also. In Center you can get on 96 North to 20.

87 and 1414 are awesome roads, lots of 25, 30, and 35 mph curves and a great road surface 90% of the time.

Let me know when ya'll leave and maybe a couple of us can meet you in Newton and ride to Center with you, we ride that route all the time.

I did it last year and it was pretty flipping cool. Actually, it was the last of my street riding days....for now.

Check this out: http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ghlight=dragon

Personally I would trailor the bikes but that's just me.

Have fun man it's going to be a heck of a change from these texas roads
