i wish every city had speed and red light cameras granted i would get a of a lot more tickets but at least it frees up the cops that would normally be giving you the tickets that so many people whine about. let the cops patrol around schools catching drug dealers, going after crack houses, shutting down prostitution, and just all around making a city a better place then spending 10-20 min writing someone a ticket that a guy at a desk looking at some photos can do.

Dude, seriously, don't you think that out of the thousands of people that have gotten these tickets that at least one of them has already thought of this?

You're going to get the ticket anyway, and it won't be "DISMISSED!!!", it will be, "Your fine is...".

But by all means, good luck to you in your endeavor.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

I agree this is going to far. we can put cameras on streets to catch people running red light and speeding, but we cant tap the phones of potential terrorist who want to do some awful things. Along with this open border BS where drugs come and go as they please. This govt is going to in a hand basket. And so will this country soon enough after if WE dont do something.

Don't worry, cameras monitoring you in traffic will soon be a thing of the past.

What's coming next will be a GPS based system. Your vehicle will know where it is and what the speed limit is for that place. If you exceed the limit it will transmit a signal to roadside receivers and a ticket will be automatically sent.
There are already tests being done on this type of system in Europe according to Motorcycle Consumer News.

Now all we have to worry about is facial recognition cameras in public places.
You can say it's paranoid but what if our government goes sour on us?

The people will need to be able to work together to try to change things. If we can't move from place to place or have meetings about what to do the control will be absolute. Facial recognition cameras will make that impossible.
The technology is being developed and already in use to look for terrorists in airports etc.

Well i agree with you with the "if dont do anything wrong...." part, but this country's govt was not formed to watch everyt little thing we do. It is not up to the govt to controll us.

I am really glad that the signers of the constitution did'nt feel that way.

It's easy to think that history is just a boring story they made you read in junior high school, but those were all real people. They risked their lives, their families and their property to take on the British empire.
All the folks that ever fought in the military since then have defended the freedom that the colonists got for us.
Now we are letting it slip through our fingers due to apathetic, weak thinking like this.
Someday, I hope we wake up and act before it's too late.

It's much worse than it was even in my time. We used to be able to do so much more than we can now.
I mean for 's sake, a WHEELIE is a felony now!

It doesn't matter who is driving, the owner of a vehicle is responsible for it.

Don't sweat the speeding camera, just get a busa and break that 200mph and your scot's free.

Maybe the combination of his bike type, bike color, helmet color/style (hopefully), clothing, location, a past "relationship" with the police, and someone that knows him ratting him out, helped the po-po. I doubt the kid kept it a secret...

And as to pursuing or not... how the FUKK are you gonna pursue a bike doing 156? The cities doesn't give us Z06's, you know. I don't think its an issue of the PD making a wise decision here, there was just no decision to be made!

After about 5 seconds into a bike pursuit, you know if you're gonna catch 'em. You either tuck your tail and call it off, or keep going cause they're a NRMF and you know they're gonna lay it down!

I hope that an uprising of the people of this country will happen in my lifetime. We already live in a society full of propaganda that tells us that big brother knows better and we just need to accept what they tell us and do what they want us to do. I, for one, don't need big brother to be watching me by camera to tell me what, when, and how I can do things. We can no longer accept this that we are having shoved down our throats. I, like many others here, know that all the things we see happening are just the beginning of the destruction of our freedoms and ultimately our country and it is sad to watch.

Hopefully a revolution will happen, but it seems like the population of the USA isn't quite as... well... bright as they used to be. Free thinking? What's that? Free speech? Well, you called me a name so I'm going to sue you! Better yet, using a racial term or CHURCHES NOT ACCEPTING HOMOSEXUALITY COULD BE A HATE CRIME!!!!
WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?
