yes it sucks he went down , but what would you be saying if he was wearing gear, in a parking lot trying to learn and his bike some how hurt or killed someone ? would it then be that other persons fault for being there when he was practicing in a "safe" parking lot ?

like cashtown said thats not the best place to learn. there is a time and a place for people to try and learn and ASI wed is not one of them. i dont know how many times ive seen joe almost get ****ed by some noob in that lot, BUT WAIT hes wearing gear in a parking lot so its ok right if he hits joe?
I agree but Joe is a seasoned rider who knows to watch for other riders. It does happen me and Joe almost hit each other at Rankin he was doing about 50 and I was in a wheelie at 5mph would have been ugly. But we saw each other.

I think "we" experienced stunters should spend more time teaching. Houston is too big of a city for such a small stunt community.

I would like to learn, but the chances of me fcking up a perfectly good bike are too high.

When your on the front wheel doing 50 you think to yourself which will hurt more hitting you, or flipping it. Wheres MattL he will agree

huge props to the quick thinking on the quick first aid thinking! and on that same note what if he was in a parking lot by himself "learning" and did that with noone to help? I don't want to anyone off here but I think that's why a lot of newbees go there for help hoping that a "skilled" rider will notice them and give them a tip or two. that's the whole reason I went out there, I was practicing rolloing stoppies and never felt like I endangered anyone (i was on the black and green tl, so chime in if I was bothering people so I don't make that mistake again), you just have to pay attention to what's going on, I left before this happened so I can't debate wether or not he was a "hazzard" but at least he's in a parking lot with people. where else can you go to learn with that many good stunters that can help you? I hope I didn't anybody off but you have to learn, I mean 3 mths ago I couldn't even do a wheelie! now I can somewhat roll a stoppie ffom being around and listening to these guys.. just stuff to think about...

first off i wish i could do stoppies but i need my gpr mount back *cough

second besides joe who all actually "stunts" out at asi on a wednesday night?

i know i dont wanna be hit by a drifter while doing a SS, so anyone who is out there on a wednesday that does not KNOW HOW TO STUNT is a squid, because wednesdays at fondren and glenmont blew up to being a free stunt show, not a place to learn. if you really wanna learn contact a stunt rider and get invited out to a spot..same ole people...different night, been going on like this for the past two years, move along.

thanks a ton joe! if it wasn't for you I would have never tried one, soon you will be the one with the camera!! hahah ok, maybe not, but its because of guys like you people get into this stuff, they see it and wanna try it.. happened to me. nobody just wakes up and says lets do sompthing f***** up on my 10k dollar bike. sorta a inspiration in a sense.. keep up the good work and don't forget where you started (helping nerds like me) and there will always be newb stunters getting good..
