my 88 has 15/35 and i top out at 37 mph after about 50 yards.... so for GSS... i would do like a 17/29 or something like that. first gear with the 15/35 would still be useless on that track, no corners are that tight to need 1st gear at that gearing

then go with an 18 front if it'll fit. would a rear sprocket fit from any other model bike?

I think 17 is the largest that will fit on the 50 motor.

Sorry Tammy, but because it's mini's doesn't mean no leathers. Those things bite hard!

I'll be running 15/39 on the 65 out there, and that will still top it out on teh straights, but that thing is fast in teh corners!

well if a kx65 can run on that track i just want the equal gearing on those 2 setups ... maybe i need to go look at the track , but if the 450 is topping out on 2 straights that doesnt sound like alot of fun for the minis

On the contrary, that track is a blast! I don't know what gearing Jody is running, but it's all about corner speed on that track. We run a 15/39 on all the big tracks, because that's as high as we can go, but you'll still have more fun than you can handle out there.

Just ask some of the folks that were there last weekend. Only a couple of the big SS bikes could hang with my 65
