good luck keeping them from melting, especially if you have aftermarket bulbs. I bought some legit angel eyes for my r6 and had some aftermarket bulbs.. they melted bad a few blocks from my house. so i emailed the guy who sold em and he sent me a new pair free. So i decided to put stock bulbs in and same results....... i finally said F@#$ it and sawed the cirlce part off with a dremel and kept the blue LED's in and it looks just as sweet.

Sorry if i ruined it but awesome idea!

Hey, they look great. Also, you should have no problem with the red. Now if they were red and blue you might have a big problem if they flashed. hehe. Ask popo he will tell you straight.

If I have melting problems, what I am going to do is drill holes all around my actual bulb and make a circle of LED's! That would be tight too! But I wrapped the back in tin foil (Which does the same as reflective tape) and used the heat shrink for the wires too! I can't wait to put them in this weekend! Thanks for the opinions!

No problems with any melting at all! Used picture frame wire to mount them. I have wheelied and gone up to some speed without any problems at all. Drove about 200 miles without any sign of melting at all! They are PERFECT!

Thanks everyone!

Any way you can get a pic of what they look like from close up when they off? Just curious how the mounting looks. I will be taking my headlight apart soon to do the headlight conversion kit sitting on my desk (just haven't got around to it) and may be interested in getting some of these from you. Would have to be white though.

Sweet. Ya a pic would be awesome when you get a chance. It will prob be at least another 2 weeks before I do the headlight conversion. Got too much going on now with finals and what not so no rush.
