sell that one, and buy a trackbike for 3-4 g's...you'll be happy you did later. Better off losing out on the retail value and what you owe then end up with a crashed bike you owe money on....

honestly bro if you just low side or somthing small then you will prolly pay for it out of pocket anyway but if you wreck big and total the bike then you will have to keep paying on it and have a crumbled up bike for nothing you know what im sayin it is up to you bro

mine is paid for so if i wreck it oh well ill fix it or just part it out and buy another if your total yours you still have to keep paying for it

there was a 2005 gsxr 600 on craigslist needed plastic and tank for 2200 the guy that is selling it bought it off someone on here

Exactly, you owe $2000 more than it's worth. My advice is; don't do that in the future.

I have been on the track since '00. I always have a dedicated race/trackday bike and have never carried insurance on them. But I start with salvage bikes to help keep the initial cost down.

Insurance is pretty much a joke. You wreck the bike, more likely than not if you do wreck it the damage will not be enough to justify the deductible. Let's just say $1000. Not only that once you do make a claim, IF they don't drop you, your rates will shoot up. What's the point. I have minimum state requirements and comprehensive just cause I live in an apt complex and people like to steal.

Good health insurance > PIP

And a PIP claim still affects your driving record. Been there done that.
