I think you have to get a surety bond in order to get it registered. Go to the court house and ask them what you have to do.

YES
you have to go to the TXDOT and get a letter...then go to ur insurance and get a title bond (or something like that) which takes about 10 days.....then go and get it registered.....

When u got o the TXDOT they have to value it...so i dunno how bad that is
