when i sold parts for caterpillar i gave another dealer a discount for a complete engine rebuild that was too much. i eff'd up, got my a$$ chewed and we honored the sale. we make mistakes and wether or not the fine print says they can change their minds i think the dealer should honor it. you are just one drop in the bucket. but thats my .02. don't wanna make enemies for myself but i think you are gettin screwed.

Ok guys I'd like to get this thread taken care of.

Pike called us today and said he talked to the owner and they are going to eat the 5% and give me the original contract of 4.9

I'd like to thank everyone for your support and pike DID go far out of his way in helping me get through this.

I'll be buying my next bike from him... Lets just double check the credit first this time ?

Wake Up!!!!!!!!!!

This matter has been resolved. I hope the customer will give the details. I will follow up with more tomorrow. This should never have been put on a public forum.

RojerLockless, congrats on getting this resolved.

It was a great idea to put this on the forum & force the issue.

We'll never know . I'm sure he[the salesman] was aware of it being on MH long before it got resolved. It definately didn't hinder Rojer at all. But he's satisfied so all is on the up and up now

I'd buy from Pike based on his owning up to his simple mistake in a public forum and I'd buy from Keith due to his having the integrity to stand by the original deal and back up his salesman. You lose some, you win some, but publicity is publicity regardless, especially when you have happy customers and are known to do the right thing, in the end. Forget the noise, this is a win win situation.
