sportbikes weren't meant for stereo's....get a bagger for that. besides with any aftermarket exhaust, do you really think you will be able to hear it? especially the one thats on the bike in your pic.

of course he will hear it you can always hear music when your bike is sitting at PP1 or ASI with the kick stand down instead of riding it

Get a good exhaust, that's the only music you need. Or an Ipod and one ear bud. Most amps will drain the battery on a smaller SS bike, as the stator cannot handle that load. It could even die while you're riding it. Get a goldwing if you must have other people around you hear your music.

Now that everyone has shared their opinions, how about helping the guy out a bit more?

Frag, I've had similar thoughts... ear buds etc in the helmet annoy me. I've searched a bit for similar with not a lot of luck, but kicked around the idea of either a GPS that can play mp3's or using the kids old psp.

i went to www.uniqcycles.com
they have some speaker systems that come with a small 150 watt amp and
4" pioneers speakers.
its a rca cable that turns into an 3.5mm head phone jack so it plugs right into my i-touch.
my only dilema is the speakers r too big. i planned on returning them and then getting my local audio shop to mount some smaller ones on my bike...
what cha think now?

the only bikes i have seen that have a radio and dont drane the battery all the time are bussa's and zx14's every other crotch rocket out there i have seen kills the battery in a bad way the reason is the big bikes have enough room for a second battery little bikes dont have the same room but im living proof that you can fab up anything trust me on that you just need some imagination?

wat do you want the speakers for? to listen to while you ride or for lookin good in a parking lot?
