Exclamation QUICK QUESTION REGARDING BMC AIR FILTER

I'll make it quick, do I need to put the foam cover on the back of the filter? there is one that goes around the edge and the other one covers the whole back of the filter. I already place the one that goes around the edge but I'm not so sure about the other one, will not prevent the air from reaching its destination?

Are you talking about the foam filter that covers the stock filter? If so, then no, you don't need to replace it.

If it's something else, a pic would help out immensely.

I'M TALKING about a black rectangular foam with a surface area about the size of the filter that came in the box, I dont have the instructions so I'm not sure where it goes.

You do no use that solid rectangle piece of foam sticker. You just need to place that rectangle outline on the back of the filter so it doesn't bounce around in the air box. It looks like you've already did that so, just pop in your new filter and enjoy.

oh cool. thank you allen! I put it in without it, but the question about where it should go was nagging me. It came in the box so i assumed it should have a purpose.
