if movie maker is confusing you, youll really be screwed trying to use anything like adobe. not trying to be a smart or anything, but those kinds of programs are complicated and very time consuming. Movie Maker can do some really cool things once you get it down. lemme know if you need any help.

I couldn't work on .avi files with Movie Maker, so I purchased AVS Video Editor for 40 buckn'ts http://www.avsmedia.com/VideoTools/index.aspx

You got XP or Vista? I think it has more to do with Vista, than MM itself. I heard it's a common issue, and there's no patches out there yet. So I said fuggedaboutit and decided to get something else.

Yeah, Vista's a real PITA. I got this laptop for my business, but I can't use too many of my programs on it, so now it's become my designated MH laptop, albeit one very expensive investment at that.

I appreciate it man, but now that I got the AVS, I don't want to add any more software than I need to... unless it's better than AVS?

never used avs, never even heard of it. VIDEO EDIT MAGIC is a small file, nothing huge. if you dont like it you can always uninstall it. who knows, you may like it better.

Sounds good. How can I get it from you? Can't make your party, but I can try to make a M&G on your side of town... sooner or later. Thanks man.
