I knew a friend or two who joined all these Dating Sites, including eHarmony, with the sole intent to get laid. They were pretty successful on a weekly basis

8 minute dating. you pay $25 bucks and put yourself in an age bracket. you meet at a pub or other eatery and will get to spend a little time with about 12 guys. if you like someone or want to try a date, you check on your little card they give you. if after the whole night you don't want to see anyone there again, the next one is free. I met SO many great elligible girls with real jobs and a life I was shocked. I always met a lot of girls in my line of work, but a date or two and I had them weeded out. this was awesome. you can keep going back and meeting new friends, maybe some dates, but you can learn in 5 minutes more about them than when they lie on a website profile.
best deal ever. and I was 37 when I started doing it and have had the same gf for 2 years now. well worth it.
thank me later is fine.
That's great, but I know guys that do this too, and got "lucky" as well. But their intentions were different from yours.

I guess the point is, guys are out to just get laid anywhere and everywhere, and these dating ventures are prime targets for their one-night stand conquests. They did say that there are so many girls that do these for the same goal. You'll have to weed through them no matter a date site, speed dating, or in regular life.

I will point out, a female friend of mine has done speed dating, and "settled" for someone she didn't really feel a connection with. Two years later, she finally figured it out and broke up with him. She should have figured it out when she first did it, and saw her ex-bf there the same night... and this guy was a bigtime "playa".

Just hang in there, through your everyday life, and the right guy will come along. You just need to figure out how to pick them out.

STOP LOOKING! Get out and spend more time meeting people with similar interests. If you come across someone be patient and see where it goes.

If you think it's tough at almost 22, wait till 32. THEN try finding someone without a ton of baggage.

A bunch of people(buck, radar, cogs, HOP and others)here have given you really good advice on this thread kid. Just do your thing, STUDY HARD once again STUDY HARD and live your life the best you can. And remember to pray to constantly for the right guy for you. Afterall, He is the one that created your soul mate. Do your thing and when wants you to get married He will bring the dude in your life.

So ya'lll don't think I would make a good father-n-law hmm? Ya'll just don't want a father n law to spank ya on a bike.

Haha. Ash, check your mail! Other than that....do what I do....Don't even worry abotu it. You'll spend more time doing what you love, and you'll meet the one your supposed to when its right.

Plus, the harder you look, the more you overlook the one right under your nose.

Just a few of my life experiences.

PEACE

Presuming tX had it right and your 21... don't worry about it, just relax go out and have fun. Don't worry about meeting/finding a guy. Just enjoy life and have a little faith, that in tiem you will meet the right person.
+1 people who choose to be / and constantly end up with loosers, on some level think they are not good enough to be with someone with out those problems.

You wouldn't be that bad. We would have plenty of great debates. Nothing can be as bad as my Ex's, he was an old fashioned Mexican ranch hand that hated white people. It only goes up from there.

Meeting someone online does not answer significant questions regarding their socializing skills.
How does the person act around their friends? Do they have friends? How do they act around your friends? Add all social skill questions here: table manners? house trained?

This is why many people have found that it is important to meet others doing the things you enjoy, yourself. Typically, social events give a common proving ground to aid in answering those kinds of questions.

Bottom line to remember, though: Boys are looking to get laid. They may say or do anything to get laid. They can not hide who they are and how they behave around others, forever, though -- their true nature will show itself.

Ok, lets look at it this way,

What are you advertising when you turn down everyone who asks you out?

Maybe if you said yes once in a while you would have more dates.
