I'm about to save you a TON of trouble. yes, some of the dating sites (match) are good for people who are older, with greater baggage/interests/kids ect. but meeting people in fun places is better. the best?
8 minute dating. you pay $25 bucks and put yourself in an age bracket. you meet at a pub or other eatery and will get to spend a little time with about 12 guys. if you like someone or want to try a date, you check on your little card they give you. if after the whole night you don't want to see anyone there again, the next one is free. I met SO many great elligible girls with real jobs and a life I was shocked. I always met a lot of girls in my line of work, but a date or two and I had them weeded out. this was awesome. you can keep going back and meeting new friends, maybe some dates, but you can learn in 5 minutes more about them than when they lie on a website profile.
best deal ever. and I was 37 when I started doing it and have had the same gf for 2 years now. well worth it.
thank me later is fine.

The best come when your not looking at all...

Just enjoy being free, play the field but nothing serious.

The same slimebags are gonna be on E-harmony, so unless you adjust your standards.. Thats all you will find!

Best of luck...

P.S, Try speed dating its a blast!

Stay single, make friends and enjoy like. Forever is a REALLY long time when you're 22. Don't spend so much emotional energy on 'wanting'- be happy with what you already have.

When I first moved here from Dallas I decided my "picker" was broken. I chose the wrong ones in the past and had the same problem you did. When I least expected it and wasn't looking I met my fiancee. I know how you feel, I had so many cheaters and drug users as exes.

Friend of mine married the girl he met on eharmony..

... sooo I signed up and the system seemed to have a difficult time matching me up with somebody. I guess I answered the questions too honestly.

What you find depends on where you look. My mother used to preach to my sister that it is just as easy to fall for a rich guy as a poor one. She sent her to an Ivy League college. When friends would ask why spend all that money, mom would say "if she gets knocked up, it will be by a better class of guy."

Sis didn't get knocked up but she found a looser and got married, had two kids, and got divorced. However, he had money so she got the house, a full time combined nanny, maid and cook, and alimony to support her while he paid her way through Georgetown Law school. That's a lot better than what I saw on another thread.

After law school, sis met another guy with even more money and lives in a fancy co-op in NYC.

Moral of the story: Always check the income statement and balance sheet.

Wisdom your dad has probably told you that you didn't want to hear.........

If that is what you keep meeting, maybe you need to look at with who and where you are spending all your time. Like someone else said, quit looking or trying. The best stuff comes when you least expect it. Have fun in CR.

, i'm not cute and i'm too young... oh well

ya, stay away from online sites, my friends made an account on plenty of fish just so they could post their pics and see if girls would message them and I saw one girl from our school who had seriuos mental issues. (lied about her brother being born retarded, or him having died, or him chasing her with knives, or her mom died... all kinds of ) so... I wouldn't suggest it, at all. If you want some cheering up you can go to the male for female classifieds on craigslist and see lots of desperate guys taking pictures of their junk hoping that they will attract a woman with it though...

Your name escapes me at the moment but are you not a college kid at UT at the moment? How do you find time to date and do all your school work? I know I ditched my BF all the time for the books
