when i was inquiring about purchasing a new bike at stubbs sw I was treated incredibly rudely and given a price that was mindblowingly high.....and this was by one of the managers....

I don't even know who Frank is- so I'm not saying anything about him, all I'm saying is that Rick was the only one in that store who knew what the eff was going on and he knew the parts backwards and forwards. Why he chose to stay at the SW store after leaving the Telephone Rd store is beyond me, but I'm sure it had something to do with $$.

I'll just sit here and hope that my connections don't dry up Hopefully, I'll never have a reason to darken their doors again at Stubb's SW.

Last new bike I was looking at, they told me a reasonable OTD price over the phone... THEN WHEN I GET THERE THE NEXT DAY TO PICK IT UP, ITS ANOTHER $400

I told the guy that, based on that logic, I'd sell the bike back to them after I used it... for more than what I paid (he was not amused)...

I like some of the employees on a personal level, but most of the ones I've dealt with professionally have been sub-par, to say the least.

are talking about stubbs on 59? if so, it must've been and isolated event... things like that happen in any bussiness eventually. I have been there a couple of times and the service depertment guy has always helped in a conveniently efficient manner. he even knows my name... i think, well he once called me by my name.
