Good Roads to Ride near lake Conroe ...

Does anyone know of any good roads to ride on near lake Conroe? My wife and I are staying at a cabin on the lake (a few miles north of 105, where the Conroe Outlet Mall is).
Anyways, we figured we would trialer our bikes up there and try to find some nice roads ... anyone have any suggestions. I dont want to go to far from where we're staying, so no forest ride.
Also, if anyone lives near the area and wants to join up for the ride, we can make some plans. Dont know when we're gonna go riding, it will either be satruday evening or sunday morning ... it also depends on the weather.

thanks!

Any of them are great. You could go all around that part of the area for miles through the forests....

+1 you then grab 1375 heading back.
On the East side of the lake you can head over to Egypt Honey (Google) for good roads on that side too that lead to lake Livingston.

we took the SeaDoos out there 2 weekends ago and the water was way tooooo freezing! it was 62 degrees at the surface. We were going to take them out again this weekend, but with the 30-40 % chance of rain, the water is still gonna be cold, so we figured we'd pass on it.
I've launched at lakeview marina before ... they're ok for boats, but their jet ski ramp sucks @ss! theres a better marina about a half mile down from there. I cant remember what its called ... but if you keep going, pass the jack n box theres a light with a shell(i think) station and a subway on the corner, you turn right at that light, and take that road down about 1/4 mile and it will be on your right. same price ($7) but its a nicer and cleaner ramp and marina shop IMO.

what kinda boat are you going to be in ... if we end up taking the sea doo's, I'll wave you down ... or if you see these SeaDoos rollin together, thats us!!!
