The Tornado is, and has been, consistently high in the parctice/qualifying sessions throughtout mis tenure in GPs, it's always depressed me that he so frequently fails to back those times up come Sunday.

I guess that speaks to the level of difficulty in a MotoGP race - it's one thing to turn a blistering fast hot lap in qualifying and another altogether to stay at the front of a pack.

I hope Nicky and CEII keep it up, but history isn't on their side...

I'm sure that Stoner will find his groove tomorrow and he'll be back on top come race day. It'll be another mid race check out maneuver I believe.

Just watched the session on TV.
I think this race has Yamaha win written all over it

Apparantly extra police being drafted in on race day, when 135,000 are expected, to seperate Lorenzo and Pedrosa fans

Spaniards live for racing

Nicky was smoking up the rear through one particular corner
I wonder if the traction control can be turned down for a particular corner on a given track??

Yes it can, from what i read they use GPS now and they can change the mapping for every corner. This is not a FACT, i just read something along those lines.

Jeez, I still remember when bikes ran on points and a condensor
You youngsters will have to google that

GPS controlled traction aids
Makes sense but I think it's all getting out of control if that is the case

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

I'm for it too- all the computer aids are taking the rider out of the equation IMHO.

I honestly think if Edwards gets a better motor he will compete will the top runners all year long. Would actually be pretty wicked if he could win the championship but who knows. I mean Nicky did win the championship with only like two 1st place finishes I think?
