generally I get from 30-35 mpg riding moderately, however, I have been able to maximize fuel economy on the freeway to about 50mpg riding at a constant 90mph in sixth gear.

Stock 2007 R6. It really depends on the riding. Moderate Pace riding I get somewhere between 35-45mpg. Track riding I got about 30mpg but I really wasn't pushing it so it could have been worse. For long highway cruising I've gotten anywhere from 45-55mpg. That was when I first got the bike. I haven't really tested it in a while.

Road trip?

Jetted and rich - and stompin' on it often - 30-35 - Yam Racing exhaust. I'm going to test it at conservative long-distance pacing and see an improvement maybe. Any other Fz1's results?

I'd say those are more like Standards, than Cruisers.

If you're looking for a bike like that, then check with DvlRacer. His dad is selling his 1200 Bandit. I'd still keep a sportbike, though.

On my FZ6 I get about 33-35mpg now on average, but before the new filter, exhaust and PC i was getting over forty often. I'm trying to lean out my fuel map right now so that might help, but mainly to stop the after-firing in the exhaust. When I snap the throttle shut sometimes it sounds like someones lit a chain of fire crackers.
