2006 Yamaha Prices, Ouch!!!

I was going to get a 2006 R6 or R1 but now I am having second thoughts after what it would do to my wallet...

2006 R1 Limited Edition- $18,000
2006 R1 50th Anniversary Yellow/Black- $11,599
2006 R1 Raven - $11,399
2006 R1 Team Yamaha Blue - $11,299
2006 R6 50th Anniversary Yellow/Black- $9,499
2006 R6 Raven- $9,299
2006 R6 Team Yamaha Blue - $9,199
2006 R6S Raven- $8,299
2006 R6S Team Yamaha Blue - $8,199

These prices are right off the Yamaha website by the way...

Dunno guys, am I the only who thinks that might be a little steep, I mean, the upgrades this year are awesome, fly by wire, shorty can, "slipper-type clutch" but almost 10,000 for a 600?! I might cruise around on my 04' for a while after it gets fixed and buy a used 2006...dunno...okay, enter your two cents now.

R6s which i believe is the one we're used to is the same price.

The R6s is simply the 05 R6 but is now the so called R6 for street because the 06 R6 comes with Ohlins and all that trick stuff. This thing is going to be a Superstock killer.

actually the R6s is a replica of the '03 - '04. No USD forks and radial brakes. Yamaha actually took a step backwards. :ehh:
