Nice bike Toni. My dad used to have a 99 V-max. It's a really fast and fun bike. It'll chearp the tire in 3rd or at least I used to do it. Very fun bike for cruising around on are laying down the rubber. Lots of torque. I used to lay a nice blacky down till I hit 100mph on that thing. Ahh the memories. Oh they run a little over 150mph if I remember right are at least the speedo will say that.
Have fun and be safe. What you think about the handle bars? I always thought they had a little weird pitch to them myself comparied to other cruisers. Nothing you can't get used to though.
Enjoy!

I doubt you have anything to worry about. I doubt they are still together. I looked at their pics and I didn't see anything less than three years old.

Nope. Vmax. G-man jinxed her by telling her she was going to dent it. The kickstand was a total surprise, though. Thank she didn't drop the bike.

The decals do look better than I thought they would. Sometimes keeping it simple looks the best. Man I still want one of my own in some strange way, really nice to ride.

I'm at work on the computer and have not seen the decals in person yet.

I rubbed on that chrome a bit tuesday night so it would look good when Toni saw it for the first time. I like the look of chrome but it's a on the upkeep. Chrome still has some water spots on it. If anyone knows a trick to get them off I'm all ears.

It didn't drop? How'd the gas tank get dented? Well that's good news atleast I was doing this when I read that.

Well- She stopped to get her decals from the sticker shop and when she put the kickstand down, the bike leaned a little too far, so she straightened it back up, then noticed it was broken. The handle bars are wonky on that bike, and when it turned hard to the left (when the kickstand broke) it hit the tank and put a little ding in it. I doubt you'll notice it. I didn't.
