Yes - HUGE difference between the Virago and V-Max.

Yes, I know to be safe - The speeds today were first ride adreneline idiocy not to be repeated. (Had to feel the V-Boost didn't I?!?)

And no DragQueens or BearC(k)at's here - Just Mean O'l Me.

I don't know why it photographs red/orange - BELIEVE me it is the same color as construction zone caution signs, those ugly orange cones and A Florecent Orange Highlighter...

Thanks for your concern. No I haven't been riding long and I did wonder how long it would take for someone to ask me this question. So- Here's my answer.

I started riding last summer. I have put 5000+ miles on my Virago and on my husbands FZ6. I have a "Cruisier" mentality (Don't love speed, don't even want to ride track.) And I'm a Mom. I wear GEAR (ATGATT) even on the hottest days in hopes of coming home alive. (I have 2 helmets, 3 jackets, chaps, boots, 4 pair of gloves, shin and knee pads, etc.)

The man I bought the bike from is 52, bought the bike BRAND NEW in 1999 and has only put 87** miles on it - However because of his age//size and years of "experience" you would perhaps deem him more "EXPERIENCED" than I me. What makes experince? Age? I'm older than I look. Years riding? - I admit I don't have those. Miles ridden? I have more than some and less than others, but the perfect amount for me...

I will not hide at home or live in fear of cagers, terrorists or death. When my time is up, I will be gone. I hope that the love and strength of character I showed (at most times and on most days) will carry those who love me into tommorow should they lose me. I also hope that should I lose them, they will have truly LIVED happily as this is the most we can ask of our time here on earth.
