Wait, let me do that... 45 'wrecks' in 87 days.

Racer X - everyone deserves some compassion - even if they were being completely idiotic in their accident - their judgment, or whatever. If you don't agree - at least the survivors (including us observers) and family do, which is the purpose of my response.

maybe give some compassion to the familys of those involved... but the riders knew what they were doing, and knew they were being stupid... they get no compassion from me... if they were taken out by a semi that hit a little car and the car hit them a killed them... then they'd get compassion for that would truly be out of the riders control

Pyrogenic, does a man who commits suicide deserve compassion?

I don't really feel sad for him or the friend who lived. :/: I'm trying to learn that compassion thing... I think I was born without it. Either way its sad that the mom had to bury her son.

First off, I haven't ever posted "RIP" in an RIP thread - not to discount people who do - but to me the sentiment seems somewhat cheapened by the fact that it's just an internet post.

I have no real issue with whether or not you're compassionate, respectful, considerate or sympathetic - who gives a flying fu ck?

What's funny to me is that you operate under this guise of concern for riders' welfare. You insinuate that you're trying to warn against the dangers of motorcycling and reinforce good riding habits.

The people who stick up for you say that you've witnessed SO many wrecks and you're just trying to keep more from happening.

Like you're some kind of good samaritan.

But in all actuality you just come across as an abrasive d ickhead. Nothing wrong with that, I'm one of the bigger d ickheads I know.

It's just that you don't accomplish anything on your purported "safety agenda" by being so caustic and accusatory all of the time.

It's fine to be an as shole, but you're not fooling anybody into thinking that you're being an as shole to serve the greater good. The only people who agree with your tone are the people who are already on your side, you don't appear to be changing many minds around here.

Like others have said, if you're genuinely concerned with increasing rider safety a little attitude adjustment is in order. Nobody wants to learn from an as shole.

The idea that you're some dic khead safety preacher is laughable. You really just come across more as a plain old di ckhead.

Sorry to take away from the original topic.

The problem with this is the mistakes and facts have to be known by the rider, etc. before being used as a tool for learning. No one can learn when the poster just throws out "gravel" or some other excuse.
