There was some discussion about the accident, probably why you missed it then.

I'm with Racer X, too. It's a good thing the only casualties were only the 2 riders partaking in the reckless riding (recognizing as well, that one of them died). They could have easily taken out an innocent bystander, or even a family, through their own stupid actions. Thank they did not.

Ed gave his opinion, which most of yall dont like. Fine. Hes not attacking anyone dead or alive.

I dont think many of you feel the same way the other half of us feel when it comes to like this, for many reasons. One being some of you may have not delt with the repercussions on a personal level. I have.

In 1982 my father (age 22) was on his bike acting like a Jackass(notice I dont pull punches because he is dead or is my father) He made the DUMB DECISION to weave in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed. That decision cost him his life......and me a Father. I love him, I miss him dearly, but he was acting a fool and becasue of that bad happend.

Just because Im mad at him for leaving me, doesnt me I dont respect him as a person, nor have grief for him.

So, Im sorry, I dont care who you are, if you ride THAT FAST on a road THAT YOUVE NEVER BEEN ON, you are a jackass, dead or alive. I do feel bad that he has left this earth "early" and hope he didnt suffer. I also feel EXTREMELY bad for his family, mainly because I know what they are going through.

does this not make sense to anyone?

Exactly. And that should just about sum it up.

RIP to the rider, and I feel sorry for his family and friends.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

Makes perfect sense. You know how to word your statements. Like I said, no one ever said they agreed with the way the riders were riding/where they were riding/when they were riding.

good post, there is a difference between showing respect for someone and pointing out what they did wrong or stupid that led to the consequenses so that others may learn from it.
