Escort 9500i

I just purchased an Escort 9500i and it has that Speed Alert that shows you how fast you are going when they try to get you with the radar gun. Does anyone know if theres a setting you can change to have it constantly or more frequently display your speed?

Here you are...

Manual can be found here by the way:
http://www.escortradar.com/pdf/9500i_Manual.pdf

You want to set Pilot Light on "Pilot SPD" That will display your MPH at all times. It is slow though an it only updates like every 1 second or so. So it will be somewhat delayed during acceleration.

Glad to hear you have a logical answer. I hate people that unplug their speedos!

Speedohealer. They work wonders and are only $100 or less on ebay and easy as pie to install. I was off by over 15% before my speedohealer.

Cobra are craptastic honestly. I had a cobra when I bought this. I left both on and running for like a week. Consistently the escort would pick up 3-4 times farther away. I was picking up boggies from around curves over a mile away and that poor cobra was just sitting there silent.
