Ordering Boots Online

I'm looking at some boots online and I wear a 9.5 shoe. I'm trying to decide between a 43(9) and a 44(10) boot. What have been your experiences with racing boot sizes?

I want to do that but I live in Huntsville :/: I suppose I could make time to get out there one day during the week but it's a heck of a drive I guess it beats buying the wrong size though!

Not only that but I tried on some very expensive boots and the killed my feet. You definitely want to try any boot on before you buy it. Just my .02 worth.

not all A* fit true...

in all my Alpinestar boots (dirt & street) I've worn a 44 (9.5-10ish), except for my last pair that I ordered (the SMX-R). I should have gotten a 43, since they run one size large.

NONE OF THE BOOTS FIT TRUE TO YOUR SIZE!!!

do NOT order online without trying them on somewhere else first.....every company's sizes are different, and it would SUCK to buy some boots and have them not fit right.

Good advice there... I wear a 9.5 Nike, an 8.5 boot (yee-haw giddy-up kind) and an 8 A-star...

Support your local shop. Unless you are finding some kind of unbelievable close out deal. Which I doubt for your size boot because almost all of us where that size or close to it so those sizes are never on the close out lists unless it is some insane color. Motorcycles Unlimited has made me great deals on boots.

Motorcycles Unlimited for my Sidi Vertigo Air. I wear a sz 12. I wasn't sure if I'd need the 46s or 47s. Patrick had new 47s in stock and had a pair of 46s in the back that he rents out with the leathers, etc. So, I was able to try on both sizes, walk around the shop in them, and determine which ones would work best. I went with the 47s since the 46s felt a little more snug than I like my footwear being.

Spoken like a true Texan!

+1 on the fact that every make fits different. Try some on before ordering or purchase from local shop or you will be posting them up for sale later.
