Met some Cool Cruiser Riders Today

So I'm driving down HW99 today when I decide to pull over to the side of the road because I was getting a Charley Horse in the side of my hip. (Its when your muscle cramps up) I got off and stretched it out. I thought Id stretch out my legs a little so I started doing the stretching routine we'd do in High School P.E.

As I'm stretching, A group of 4 Harley riders are about to ride past me. I do a friendly wave while im on the ground doing the "butterfly" stretch (when you have the bottom of both your feet touching together) and they waved back. They ended up turning around and parked next to me. One had a black bandanna on his head, the other had long white hair, with all of them wearing black leather jackets. Not gonna lie, I was kind of scared. They walked up and asked if everything was okay. I took off the helmet and told them I was just getting a little cramped up so I decided to stretch out for a bit. We had a conversation for as long as our cigarettes lasted and we went on our way. They were very cool people.. Hope to run into yall sometime again!

Before we all left, I started my bike, I clutched in and put it into 1st gear... Engine Died. Damnit, forgot to put the kick stand up.
Started the bike again, waved goodbye, clutched out and stalled. Damnit! First time I stalled the bike :/ .... The guys were laughing screeming "Easyy Easy! Easy with the clutch!!!" I laughed. My noob self acting at its best.

One bad characteristic about myself is that I'm horrible with names. Can't seem to remember their names. Very cool guys I met today.

Haha I feel your pain man! Last time Ian(Chris514Scott) and I were riding together we got back into town and this smokin' hot chick was in the car infront of us at the light. I noticed her looking back and gave her a wink, light turned green and I stalled my bike. I can't even think of the last time I stalled it before then. Ian just and pretty much told me I l00ked like a douche!

I wonder if you said they(the harley riders were doing burnouts and cutting in out of traffic and racing each other this thread would have got locked too.

Back to topic I have met some really cool american twin riders over the years. Would do anything for ya.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

lol sounds like you were still scared trying to burn off and get away!!!

and to remember names or make an attempt be say their name outloud

example
Sam: Hi I'm Sam and I suck at life
you: SAM it's a pleasure to meet you

That helps a lot when it comes to remembering names

+1

Im bad with names and i use that little trick

Harley guys wave back to me all the time, as long as i wave first. Maybe they are just confused by the V-Twin noise, wondering how that comes from a s ss sport bike?
