Pretty common on those, now the bad news, you can't just buy the actuator.

Try to find a complete used throttle body assy.
Try Sams Cycle salvage first, pm Romeo36 here on the board, he's Sams son and can probably tell you if he has one or not.

No, probably not, the R1 does not use a secondary throttle valve, although it could need an EXUP adjustment.

Are you getting an FI light or any trouble codes?

On your bike if there was an issue your tach would be jumping from idle to 8000 rpm or so on it's own.
You probably don't need anything more than maybe an EXUP cable adjustment.
If you're concerned about it, bring it by and I'll listen to the noise and give you my opinion, no charge.
