Give details on the crash. How did it happen? What turn? And how long did it take you to get off the ground? And how fast? When I went down last week it knocked the wind out of me and it took me probably 5 or more minutes to stand up.

It's nice to walk away from something like that...probably wouldn't have if it was on the street with trees, curbs and cars in the way. Glad you came out ok Clayton. As for the bike, it looks like it definitely was a yard sale item.

clayton's crash wasn't that bad. figuratively speaking.....

i was behind their pack coming up to the bus stop when i saw the bike twist around and throw him on the ground. the parts actually looked like it shattered when the bike hit the ground. i think it was those 1 ft. frame sliders (part of his cage) that made the bike flip and turn and break.

the bike went into the direction of the way he was going, and he got thrown off on the outside of the turn. clayton couldn't get up and walk, so he crawled to the outside of the turn going onto the back straight. that is when me and a few others who almost ran him over went between him and his bike.

pretty cool crash, cuz we were all packed up 6 deep (maybe 7 or 8 bikes) and everybody scattered after it happened. if i had to guess, it took him about 2-3 minutes to get up.

I had the surgery to put my chit back together.
I was good to ride after about 1 week.

It's still sore as but at least I can suit up and ride a little.

Tony's is still fresh If I'm not mistaken

haha, yeah, i couldn't resist the temptation to ride....

i only rode a few sessions....and rode at 50% of my abilities....the bumps and vibrations started hurtin a little and i wasn't comfortable with riding with holey leathers and a loose helmet, so i got off the track. you can tell by lookin at everyone's pictures, i wasn't workin my mass and tryin to drag elbows in any pictures. just spent the day workin with a few people to get them up to speed.

i ended up with a broken rib and a fractured collar bone....i got full movement still so i ended up ridin....but it made everything more sore, so next time i know to give it an extra week or so before gettin back on the saddle so quick.

now back to the yard sale!!!!

DANG TONY

Man, riding with a broke rib and a fractured collar bone? Sheesh it must be nice to be young and tough. You are crazy and got kudos of respect from me.

I did ride the chopper after my crash but man every bump in the rode hurt like so I eventually popped a pain pill which made riding even more groovy.
