Movie:No Country for Old Men

crazy movie, quite a bit of gun play.

the main bad guy is prolly one of the meanest bad guy's i've seen on TV. NO MERCY comes to mind as his theme.

I like the shotgun blast to the guys arm in the hotel. That was brutal how it blew the f up. And then the car crash...I saw that one coming but it always gets the jolt.

Most people hated the ending. Imagine if it left it open for more movies! I could watch another one...

you need to watch these movies when they come out not when they are available at the red box. looks better on the big screen.

The narration from Tommy Jones' character in the book really builds up the sense of futility, lament and injustice that he feels in the world.

You want everything to turn out well, but reading the story through the eyes (and thoughts) of Jones and you can tell that it's not going to.

Good doesn't always triumph. Sometimes the bad guy gets away. I liked this book/movie because it wasn't just another Hollywood feel-good, formulaic pic. I like being mad at the ending, it sticks with you.

I was caught up in it until the end.
Haven't been that let down in a while.

So Tommy Lee didn't go after him?
He got away after the wreck?
He did waste Lorine?

Interesting film. I like the way it was filmed and the story was interesting for a while but, ends with the good old Hollywood style flop.

^ I thought it was anything but your typical Hollywood ending.

Anybody read The Road McCarthy's post-apocalypse story? That would make a good movie.

Saw the movie in theatre, I LOVED IT, my friend had read the book several years ago.

I give it two thumbs up.
