Angry Monday morning WTF?

This morning while paying for gas at a random gas station the clerk behind the counter asked me if I wanted to donate $1. I did't even hear what it was for, I said no thanks and GTFO.

Yes, after everyone has been "donating" an extra dollar with every gallon of gasoline for the past year a petroleum supplier had the gall to ask me for a donation.

I work for the oil industry in the intelligence field and, let me tell you, there is absolutely ZERO reason why our wallets cry at the pump other than personal gain. And they ask me to donate? WTF?

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

I'm not ranting about gas prices since I too work in the oil business. But I was just for a petroleum producer for asking me to donate.

[MY COMPANY] does market intelligence, data, publications and analysis tools to the upstream oil and gas industry.

I'm not a spokesman.

what if it was for a good cause? like for a cancer foundation? or maybe for his daughters girl scout camp?
