Well, turning a blind eye to facts is the basis of most religions anyway.

Catholics follow Jesus Christ, the whole thing is based around Jesus Christ, hence they are Christians. It's a simple fact. You may not like the Catholic way of doing things, but you can't ignore the fact that they are christians. Sorry.

like i said before, im not huge on religion, to become catholic would have been no big deal to me, you can call me what you want, wont change the way i believe

don't mean to in, but I am confused. Why would anyone who wasn't really religious suddenly become religious solely for the purpose of marriage? I would think it a very big deal to become catholic and to not really mean it just to marry seems just as disrespectful...IMO.

it was what she wanted, i loved her, was willing to become part of it for her.

she knew how i felt about it, at first i said no, really, it was the title, they wanted me to be catholic, so i said ok
